not sure about the dimensions of this anti-crush frame, but the Tornado one was made to stop Razer. Razers weapon doesnt reach further than its own wedge, Axe to Falls axe DOES reach further than its own wedge, so I can probably hit Metalmorphosis body, where the camshafts are exposed

Ill hit what I can hit, try to penetrate does skirts from the corner, and yknow, moat it

As with the last round, I predict Axe to Fall will clamp Metalmorphosis and dump it in the moat.

Welcome to the Heat B final, where we visit The Moat for the second time this heat.

In first is Axe to Fall. This deadly axe bot put a serious hurting on Hypnodisc in the first fight, before surviving a scare against Chalkie 3G in this very arena. It€™s been in quick fights and not been seriously tested yet, will that change today?

Next is Metalmorphosis, who mostly took a back row seat as Chalkie 3G preassured Gravity to an early exit. After that it got past Turbo Tails in a tough one, and we can clearly see where the armour has had armour breaches welded shut. Richard has attached the anti-crush frame for this fight.

ACTIVATE!!

Axe to fall charges forwards immediately, powering under the skirts as if they weren€™t there! The axe comes down on top of Metalmorphosis, but Axe to Fall€™s momentum stops right there as both machines vie for pushing purchase. For a few moments, all that can be heard are the whine of the motors and the cheering fans as the two machines very slowly go in circles, with Axe to Fall€™s blade joining the two together.

After a few moments of this, Martijn retracts the axe, and Metalmorphosis starts to get the upper hand, edging Axe to Fall backwards. But this only lasts a second, as Axe to Fall had been bounced up by the retracting axe. As soon as Axe to Fall is back on its wheels properly, Metalmorphosis is rocketed backwards and thrown over the moat. Martijn tries to slam the brakes on, but Axe to Fall goes straight over after it!

Well it€™s a double moating, but it€™s clear who went over first. The winner, via moating - Axe to Fall!
