Well, Im quite good at English, but I will say that Im sometimes very forgetful, and I can miss out words in my battles.

The Killer Toad Tournament
Round 2, Fight 2
So, I€™m on a €œUse it or Lose it€ holiday, and I€™m having a stay-at-hone day due to the high cost of fuel, so let€™s move onto the 2nd fight.
Drilla Killa 7 vs. Nitro-Gene 2 (2)
The first robot into the arena is Drilla Killa 7, who in round 1 had to beat both Woody and D-J; it€™s the invertible skirted box with twin wedges and some nasty drills.
The 2nd robot into the arena today is the 2nd seed Nitro-Gene who had a close scare against Die-Ceratops, where it needed a Judges Decision to get passed Chris€™ launcher. It is the invertible box with a front wedge and a nasty flipper.
Both robots are ready, as the countdown begins:

And so it begins, both robots are away, Richard wanting to avoid that nasty flipper, as he knows the skirts might not stand up for much pressure and might give-way to allow Nitro-Gene€™s flipper in underneath, where Paul knows one false move could see Richard€™s industrial drills drill into the Hardox armour, like they did in the previous 2 battles. Nitro-Gene pushes on, as Drilla Killa gets ready for the attack, as both machines clash head-on.
Drilla Killa is underneath Nitro-Gene, as the lower front end of the drilling machine is slightly lower than the front end of Nitro-Gene, as Richard puts on full power pushing Nitro-Gene backwards, the wheels on Nitro-Gene are spinning away trying to get some traction on the slightly greasy arena surface, as Drilla Killa slams Nitro-Gene into the arena wall, the drill coming into place on the underside of the body.
Sparks fly, as the diamond tipped industrial drill bit makes a lovely mess of the underside of Nitro-Gene, giving it a hole, as Paul manages to get some grip on the arena surface and manages to break free from the driller, spinning away to get ready for another attack, as Drilla Killa gets ready for another attack from Nitro-Gene, as Paul puts on full power, turning Nitro-Gene into a 4 motor, 6 wheel drive rammer, where the front 2 wheels on either side are powered by a motor, and the rear wheels are powered by the 2nd motors, giving some nifty handling, it€™s the same set-up in both machines, as Nitro-Gene comes storming in, dodging at the last moment, but Drilla Killa spins on the wheels, as Nitro-Gene slams into Drilla Killa at an angle, getting underneath, and before you could say the worst week of the week award awarded weekly on a week by week basis, Drilla Killa is being pushed towards the arena wall. The audience are shouting for an OOTA, as Paul fires the flipper button sending Drilla Killa up in a lovely arc, as it crashes down...
€¦on the wrong side of the arena fence.
Cease
Drilla Killa put up a good fight, but Nitro-Gene used its flipper head to put the driller out of the arena, as the 2nd seed moves onto the final 8.
Next time, it€™s the return of the champion, still in showroom condition, as it€™s The May Tracks Have You (1) vs. Eternia.
Brilliant fight Dave! One of the best ever as far as Im concerned. Nitro-Gene is doing quite well at the moment, and I hope it lasts when I face my next opponent - Flyte...beware!![]()
The Killer Toad Tournament
Round 2, Fight 3
The May Tracks Have You (1) vs. Eternia
And so it comes, yet another flipper showdown. In round 1, May Tracks had an easy job taking care of Shiny Happy People, whereas Eternia had to use its armour and speed to put out Dante, after several attempts. These 2 Machines have the 1 OOTA under their belts already, this round has already seen 2 OOTA€™s, and so will fight 3 produce another OOTA?
Well frankly my dear, I wouldn€™t bet against it. Both robots are wheeled into the arena; I got bored at doing the fight interviews, so let€™s fight!!!

The sound of the gun being fired rings though the arena, as both machines are away, both have high powered flipper weapons, the champion has the speed advantage of 20 mph to 11.25 mph, the tracks are against the 4 wheel drive Eternia, Leo€™s machine has the lower front end due to the flipper arm being pulled down, but it has a 5mm ground clearance on the sides compared to the champion€™s skirted sides. Meanwhile getting back to the fight, both machines are holding back from an all-out attack, waiting to see which machine blinks first.
And the machines wait€¦
And wait€¦
Frank flicks the controls to get May Tracks off the flying Windows screensaver, but both robots are still waiting, before suddenly Eternia breaks ranks and charges towards May Tracks. Frank is shocked for a nanosecond, before getting ready to dodge the attack, not wanting to risk the skirts against Eternia€™s low front end in case the low front end manages to break underneath the low skirts of May Tracks, as Leo continues straight on. Frank drives away from Eternia before spinning on the tracks and putting on full power continues to plough towards Eternia, Leo turns his machine around and gets ready. May Tracks flicks the controls twice, Eternia flicks the controls, but in a different way to Frank€™s evil dodging trick, as May Tracks slams underneath the sides of Eternia, and starts to push the machine, the spike strip is up, locking the wheel of Eternia against the front wedge, as Eternia spins the wheels, managing to pull away from May Tracks, as Frank fires the flipper sending Eternia onto it€™s back.
Leo fires his own flipper straight away to self-right, but May Tracks is straight away underneath Eternia before it could move, this time underneath the front, as the wheels are caught against the spike trap, Eternia puts on full power learning from last series to drive up the wedge instead of down the wedge to protect the wheels, as Frank fires the flipper for a 2nd time, once more sending Eternia into a lovely arc, backwards towards the centre of the arena. May Tracks turns like a tank and continues it€™s march towards Eternia, as Leo has got his machine self-righted and ready to defend again. Eternia dodges May Tracks attack, as Leo tries to launch into a counter-attack, slamming into the sides of May Tracks, but the skirts have held out, as the front of Eternia slams into the side of May Tracks, pushing the champion sideways, which isn€™t good for the tracks.
May Tracks puts down the power and manages to escape from Eternia, and straight away rams Eternia from the side, catching Leo off guard and straight away the flipper fires to avoid a repeat of last time. May Tracks goes straight into Eternia and fires the flipper again, as Eternia goes for a flying lesson over the fence, landing on it€™s back, where it quickly self-rights, looking for a way back into the arena, as May Tracks spins on the spot, flipper firing in celebration of another victory.
Cease
A gallant effect from Eternia, but May Tracks adds another notch to Frank€™s winning belt, and moves into the quarter finals where it will meet the winner of the next fight:
Death Threat vs. Cat with Wheels
The battle of Danny and his clone.
I vote Danny to win.![]()
Nah, Dannys got it in the bag. Danny makes good robots, but he just cant compete with Danny![]()
Erm... Death Threat will try to crush it up and pit it, while Cat with Wheels will get underneath, shove it to the sides, and get it out.
Yeah.
So you have no overall preference which machine goes forward to the quarters?
As it usually happens in the rare time when 2 of your machines fight each other, normally you give the writer some idea which machine you want moving forward.

Oh. Errm. Id prefer Cat with Wheels, if I had a choice, but its your tourney. Choose who would win, not who I want to win.
Man, I say Errm a lot.
Fair enough
Who do you want to call your clone?
