The Killer Toad Tournament
So it is time for the 3rd round 1 fight:
Flick of the Wrist vs. Forklift 2 (3)
The first machine into the arena today is Flick of The Wrist, champion of series 1 with a 3-0 win record, and it hasn€™t really changed from an annoying ram-bot, which rams robots around, power comes from some lovely MagMotors and the armour is titanium. The main weapon is a part of diamond tipped electric lifting forks, which can lift or spike other machines; however the main weapon is the drive, which can make Flicky go at 22 mph. Will Martijn ram his way to victory?
The 2nd machine into the arena is the 3rd seed, Forklift 2. Martyn€™s box with front forklift style flipping arms is unchanged from series 2 where it put out Martijn€™s Axe to Fall in round 1, before entering the pit via Nitro-Gene, before winning against Kody€™s Avarice in the 3rd place playoff. It has Hardox armour, and has 6 wheels to drive the machine powered by MagMotors. Will history repeat itself in the battle of the Marts?
Both Roboteers are in the arena, ready to go

Blink and you might miss Flicky accelerating away, towards Forklift, as Martyn gets ready to defence himself against Flick of the Wrist€™s attack, as Martijn isn€™t stopping and as Forklift dodges, Martijn quickly flicks the controls of Flick of the Wrist and straight away is back on top of Forklift, well to the side, with the forks raised as Forklift is getting pushed sideways, Martyn is trying to get away, but Martijn has got his machine in a hold, as both machines slam into the arena wall at top speed.
The forks of Flick of the Wrist has actually pierced the side armour of Forklift 2, piercing though the 3mm Hardox armour like it was paper, as Martijn reverses, freeing from Forklift 2, Martyn shots out and comes straight back onto attack, but Flick of the Wrist dodges the flipping attack by Forklift, which looks like to be having some control issues, wanting to pull to the right hand side. Flick of the Wrist wastes no time and this time comes into another side attack, avoiding that front flipper.
Once again Martyn dodges, and this time Martijn doesn€™t come straight back onto attack, and drives off to the other side of the arena, before spinning around and launching onto an attack at the front end of Forklift, the front forks of Flick of the Wrist are raised into the piercing position. Both robots come together, as Flick of the Wrist hits into Forklift and pushes it backwards, the flipper fires, sending Flick of the Wrist over onto it€™s back, as Martijn comes straight back onto the attack, ramming into the other side of Forklift, and counter-acting the dodge, and for a 2nd time of the battle, Forklift is being pushed sideways towards the arena wall.
Bang, as Forklift bounces away from the wall, but once more Flick of the Wrist is back onto it, attacking the rear end, and getting underneath the rear wedge, and raising the forks, so that the rear wheels of Forklift are off the ground, suddenly something flies out of Forklift, and lands, as Flick of the Wrist raises Forklift again and puts on full power, ramming it towards the arena wall, another bang is heard as Forklift bounces onto the arena wall, stuck at an angle, rear end sticking on the fence, where it is stuck, Martyn knows that if he tries to self-right, he would only put himself over the arena wall, as for a moment the camera flicks back to that mystery item which came out of Forklift, it looks like a piece of metal, god knows where that came from, although that might explain the reason Forklift was pulling to the right after result of the first attack.
Flick of the Wrist is redrawing, as the Ref is coming into play, as the count-down has started. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, suddenly the flipper fires on Forklift sending it over the wall, Martyn preferring to get an OOTA rather than a Technical Knock-Out.
Cease
Flick of the Wrist rams to victory, positioning Forklift so that it self-righted out of the arena.
The next fight is:
Drilla Killa 7 vs. D-J
Drilla Killa 7 is a box with twin wedges, but the rear wedge is upside down and only comes into play when it gets flipped over, the weapons are a pair of drills, one at either end of the robot, so the drill bit can come out and drill into other machines when they are on the wedge. It has 6 wheels, and the armour is Hardox. Will Drilla Killa drill to victory?
The 2nd bot into the arena is D-J, which has stats in the €œHow Could I Improve€ thread, according to Timmy; however I checked and couldn€™t find the stats. Therefore D-J has been replaced with woody, a very basic 4 wheel drive machine powered by a couple of wheelchairs, one wheelchair at the front and one wheelchair at the rear, with the weapon coming from a tiny flail on the top, the armour is MDF, and the machine is rather top-heavy.
Both Roboteers are ready, Richard in the 1st booth, and a potato in booth 2.

Richard not believing his luck drives Drilla Killa away from the starting block, the potato hasn€™t moved Woody, as it remains at a stand-still as Drilla Killa comes around to the side and getting underneath the high ground clearance, and still the potato hasn€™t moved, maybe that is a tactic to suddenly move, or maybe because the potato is a potato and can€™t handle the controller.
The drill bit rips into the side wood, like it was made of wood, as Drilla Killa redraws the drill and reverses, before coming into a long run, getting underneath Woody which falls onto it€™s side, the potato is looking rather sad as Drilla Killa drills another hole into Woody, as the Ref is coming Woody out.
Cease
In a rather 1-sided battle, Drilla Killa beats Woody.
Fight 5 will be:
Disco-Tech 2 vs. BIACS-LE
