Once The Killer Toad Tournament has finished, I am planning to do something rather special, of which more details will be announced once I have written them down.

But for the time being, could I ask 9 of you lovely fighters to design some house robots. But be reasonable, so Im setting the weight limit at 500kg. As for weaponry, could it be possible to stick to weaponry which is allowed, so no explosives, no acid, no electric-magnetic pulses etc.

    This looks... interesting...
    How about this?

    APOCALYPINATOR

    Weight:500kg
Shape:Large Wedge with a sloped rear
    Dimensions:130 x 150 x 60
Locomotion:4 x steel tank tracks (2 on each side)
    Power:8 x LEM-130s running at 36v
Armour:12mm thick hardox on top, sides and rear, 6mm hardox on base
Weaponry:50 x 50 x 70 hardox vertical flywheel driven by 4 x LEM-130s, 750 psi Co2 powered front hinged flipper on a single 100m ram on the rear wedge, can flip other robots and acts as a srimech. The sides are lined with steel spikes, 6 on each side so it cant get stuck there.
    Turning Circle:0
Ground Clearance:Effectively zero on front and rear due to wedges, 10mm on the sides
Colour:Massive monster face painted on the top and each side of the flywheel.
    Top Speed:15mph
    Notes:WATCH OUT!!

    Golden Lotus

    Weight:500kg
Shape: Similar to the early tengus (ie a tapered and rounded cone)
    Locomotion:4 go-kart wheels
    Power: 4x Lem 130s at 46volts
    Speed: 16mph
Armour: 18mm hardox scalemail, the scales are roughly petal shaped (like a more rounded rhombus) pointing upwards, at the base they are larger and get progressively smaller near the top, they curve round the ouside of the body. Each is attached by having a 10mm hole bored through them at their base through which a 9.9mm titanium curved rod is fitted so that all the scales on one level are moutned on the rod-loop. The rod for each layer is attached to the chassis which is made of titanium. All of the outside of the petals in gold plated, and the inside silver plated. Because Im decadant.
Weaponry: The robot is a true full body spinner (ie it spins on its own wheels) the petals have a second titanium mechanism inside, similar to Tengus old umbrella scrimech which opens the petals up and turns them all into blades - there are 6 blades at the base level and two more petals for every layer up, there are 5 layers in total. The umbrella mechanism is powered by a hyrdraulics.
    Turning Circle:0
    Ground Clearance:2cm
Srimech: The action of the petals opening selfrights it. If open when it is flipped, it may have to close the petals then open them again.

I dont have the slightest clue how much that would really weight, but nevermind...

I agree with Liam, it sounds rather interesting.

Heres my attempt, weight is probably off and Ive probably gone technically overkill in all the wrong areas, but there you go.

Night Stalker (better names on a postcard, please)

    WEIGHT: 325kgs
    DIMENSIONS: 180 x 110 x 40 cm
SHAPE: Like a cross between a Formula 1 car, a non-muscle sports car, and T II from series 3...sort of box shaped but lower, more rounded with cutaways for the wheels, lots of bare chassis in some areas and lots of spoilers. Would draw a picture if I was more artistically talented.
COLOUR: Blackened red, which gets darker towards the rear.
DRIVE: 2 LEM200 motors, geared for acceleration and torque rather than speed (still quite a bit of speed though) running from 6 SLA batteries driving two large rear racing car style machined aluminium wheels, with black urethane rubber grip. The front two wheels are steered using a car type steering system based on compressed air pneumatics.
    SPEED: 20mph
TURNING CIRCLE: 4m to do a complete turn. In practice, can probably do a three-point turn inside two and a half to three metres fairly quickly.
GROUND CLEARANCE: 0 at the front due to the weapon. At the sides/rear, it varies between 10 and 15mm depending on exactly where.
ARMOUR: Basic frame and some of the supporting bodywork is 10mm titanium plate, tube, and box section, while the rest (basically the sides and bits of the top) is 4mm Hardox, double skinned in key areas. Baseplate is 8mm aircraft grade aluminium alloy with the decorative sections of the bodywork made of 5mm titanium and 1.5mm carbon fibre.
WEAPONS: The main weapon is the front electrically operated 90cm long axe, driven from a flywheel and a Rolls Royce engine starter motor, made of steel with a carbon fibre reinforced bendproof shaft. The head of the axe is made of Hardox with tungsten edges and is diamond tipped, and is shaped like half of Excaliburs axe from series 3, only slightly more 3D so it leaves nice almond-shaped holes in opponents. It weighs 22 kilograms and can penetrate most armour fairly easily, and can dent fairly thick titanium and thin to medium Hardox at full power.
The front spoiler on the robot is a lifting scoop weapon, and lifts pneumatically from an 80mm low pressure ram and a 2.5kg tank of CO2 allowing it to be used about 20ish times in a match.
SRIMECH: Behind the slot for the axe, there is a Hypnodisc style righting bar which is hidden in the chassis and runs from the same pneumatics system as the lifting scoop, that self rights Night Stalker to the right in about one and a half seconds.
NOTES: Has shockproofing to counter hits from most kinds of weaponry, and also boasts rather bright red front headlights and a smaller pair of ultra-bright green LEDs just in front of the rear spoiler, as eyes.
STRENGTHS: Good weaponry, fast and controllable, fairly well armoured with good pushing power
WEAKNESSES: Uses car steering, wheels exposed from top
