You dont need 3 LEM 200 motors for drive, as your main weapon is the spinning bar, I would suggest knocking it down to 2 lem 130s, which should give some pushing power if your weapon fails.
Ok, 3 Lem 200 motors for weapon and 2 len 130 for pushing power.
do you have a rough feeling about the weight of your armour, your wheels, your weapon, your electronics etc?
its understandable if you havent, your still a newcomer with stuff to learn, but this setup still has about 40 kg worth of motors
your spinner-power is decided by both the motors (well, the motors decide the spin-up time), as well as the dimensions and the mass of the weapon, power your weapon by a LEM130, and make the bar a heavy one Id say
Yes I have a rought feeling about the weight of everything.
Well then good luck trying to fit everything in the weight limit. :P
Ok what the weight limit for robots in wheels again?
100kg
Ok, 3 LEM200 for weapons, 2 Lem170 which makes it 50kg. Ok my weapon is a 8x8x8 titanium spinning bar with 4 3x3x4 with a 7 distance titanium teeth.
Oh dear, oh dear!![]()
Other than the confusion with the motors, the new set of stats are quite good. My only complaint is that your robot is 1000mm in diameter, and it seems your blade is just 12mm. For it to hit anything at all the blade will need to be at least 1000mm as well. Also, bars dont usually have any teeth at all, never mind 10. Go for four maximum.
LEM130 motors are seriously powerful motors by themselves. LEM200 motors are even more powerful than that. For your weapon I would suggest one LEM200 if you are looking for lots of destruction. For the drive go for two LEM130 - one for each side of the drive. This combines to around 20kgs of motors. These huge powerful motors take up a load of batteries, so even this set-up would be a push.
Keep trying though!![]()
