these tests were just a quick nudge rather than a full on hit.
also put a pic on profile of what a quick hit did against the steel scoop of the old Prodigy , the scoop is 6mm mild steel.

sorry mario, does what keep together? the spinner is fine, i just dont know whether to run or 24 volts, 12 does good damage but 24 is scary!
hmm looks like an engagement problem, when you did get the object on 24v it was a pretty sweet hit, but the rest of the time on 24v it was a grinder.. your gona have to get corners on 24v or you wont do much damage to people..
Id suggest run it on 12v for this weekend and afterwards bring it down to the factory, well mill of 2 teeth and balance it as a 1 tooth disc, that would be real good on 24v then.
Hi dave, that would be good. What i found from all the tests was it seemed to grind on the polycarb sides, everytime i hit anything steel it would engage, and that was on flat surfaces not a corner. so i wondered if it was anything to do with more force needed, instead of nudging, if that would make much difference, or if the polycarb was causing it too grind.

upto you then, if you think it drives well with the disc at full chat you mayaswell run on 24v, and just charge at ur oponent with the disc going if possible.. but it doesnt always work out that way in the arena. If its not to much hassle to re-wire, then just bring both battery packs to the event and change your voltage acording to the armour on your oponent?
So long as you weigh in at tech check in the heavyest configuration (24v) it shouldnt be a problem. But i still deffo recomend we chop some teeth of it for next time.
ok, i like the sound of the teeth chop. It is very easy to switch from 12 to 24v. it weighs 13.6 at 24v, the advantage of 12v is i get to put on an extra 600g of armour. my biggest worry was little hitter as i wasnt sure what that can get through in hdpe.
Running into the opponent instead of nudging it helps a lot. Really drive into the opponent is half the battle in this case, and aim for the corners. I have the same with my spinner. You could look into running at 18V as a possibility. The disc motors can handle it, they are factory rated for 12 to 40V.

if you keep your front end towards LH all the times i think you will have advantage
The arena is more then adiquate to contain prodigy evo. It held out easily when Little Spinners bar broke and a chunk of it flew at the wall. Its pretty much air tight, thats why the smoke machines wont be run quite so much this year, theres no room for it to get out once its in lol.
