Well Dave can use one thumb for driving Envy and one thumb for Thors hammer, and Jason can use one thumb for driving Thor and the other for Envys flipper.
I can see how it will pan out:

Dave drives Envy into Thor Dave fires Thors axe onto the front of Envy Jason drives Thor forward but goes up Envys flipper Jason fires Envys flipper and flips Thor over....etc etc

It could get a tad confusing

I cant recall Jason driving into the pit at Fairford LJ, I remember they lost because their receiver was dodgy
