Ive just seen the final on the Iron-Awe account on YouTube - Dantomkia was SO unlucky the link came out, they kept on getting under Iron-Awe again and again, and if the link hadnt popped out, they may have won.
How long we each of these battles? Did any go the full length, as the ones Ive seen have lasted -1 min, or 1.5 mins. I know you all wish to win, but is winning that quickly a bit boring on the viewers?
I think without it being shown on tv and with a lot at stake in this particular competition, viewer satisfaction is quite low down the priority list, Paul
As a rule Flipper battles tend to be short, its the nature of the weapon really. Other battles were longer and had to be counted out. I think there was a good mix of short-yet-feisty and long-but-thrilling during these Championships. None of the battles were boring, as a matter of fact they were interesting with worthy opponents pitted against each other. The technical level was high and that made it all the more enjoyable.
Love the pics! Im in some of them for the first time as well!
