Even if theres no crowd, Im sure the competition will still start and go ahead on the Saturday. Jonno likes to put on shows; hell do what he can to make sure that unplanned interruptions such as the airshow cancellation will cause as little disruption to the roboteers and public as possible, even if adverse effects such as low audience numbers will put a financial dent in his pocket.

I dont know what the ticketing system is like for RR events at RIAT, if they have separate tickets to see the RR show or whether you get to see them if you have a ticket for the whole airshow but regardless of audience Im sure the organisers will allow RR to run the champs today.

And Ill just use this post to wish everyone competing the best of luck!
(my moneys on one of the Team Bud machines: Envy because its highly effective, Thor cos its badass and cool )

This is assuming the organisers allow RR to go on base and play or that they have enough bots. All that said, go Apocalypse.

    AIR TATTOO CANCELLED SUNDAY
The organisers of the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire announce that the airshow on Sunday, July 13 will not go ahead.

The decision was taken following lengthy discussions between the organisers, police and other safety services. It was based on concerns for our visitors and the disappointing conclusion was that we could not fully safeguard them.

The public is asked not to travel to RAF Fairford tomorrow.

Despite a huge effort by everyone involved to improve the conditions of the waterlogged public car parks, it became clear by mid-afternoon today (July 12) that significant areas of the fields and of the showground remain unusable.

Air Tattoo Director Tim Prince said: €œWe have been working around the clock to improve the conditions on the airfield and in the car parks but unfortunately we have run out of time.
