Ground Clearence: 0mm at the front, and 3mm on sides and back
Armour: 9 mm Titanium All Around
Weapon: 19kg Spinning Drum with 10 teeth Powered by a 24V LEM-130, spins at 4600 RPM
Srimech: Why should it? Its invertible.
Strengths: The Drum, Good Control, Hard to Approach from the Front
Weaknesses: Exposed Tyres...
Getting better, but less batteries please. 4 x 24v NiCad Battlepacks would do it, as the motors are run at 24v, so it makes sense for the batteries that power the motors are run at the same voltage.![]()
As for the rest, Id increase the voltage for the weapon motor to 36v, as LEM130s run more efficiently at that voltage. Whats the kJ for the drum? (google Team Cosmos to find their kJ calculator and calculate the kJ factor) Itd be awesome to know how much force the drum dishes out in every hit. Also, move the tires inside the main body (but keep it invertible) so that they dont become spinner fodder, as exposed tires are quite a big target nowadays.
One more thing: what are the dimensions of the bot? We kinda need an idea of how big it is.![]()
All in all, quite good though.![]()
