Thread: Batterie search

  2. if they are the yellow ones off ebay I have not had good luck with them. I bought several 6v packs a while back but found they couldnt power two gold motors. I have heard of other people having better luck with them though.

If this is for your spinner then I recommend getting as high spec batteries as you can. There is no point in building an incredible piece of weaponry but then not providing it with the power it needs to run.

I use the Sanyo RC 2400 12v Sub C NiCad packs in hornet (2 in series) and cannot recommend them highly enough. Able to take a hell of a lot of high current abuse from my mag and my bad battery care from me and they still run fine.

  4. I bought two of them (9.6V ones) to power the drive and weapon for Drumroll; havent charged them up yet though (not got a suitable charger) and havent had a chance to test them with the drum motors (two HTIs from RMP) so I dont know what theyll be like but I hope theyll perform sufficiently.

On the modelforum in Holland most people agree these cells are good value for money, and a fair quality.

I have no personal experience with them, but i know the people that have posted these findings are reliable.
