Batteries, enough power??

hi all

for my crusher im using a 24v linear actuor, and the drive is 12v drill motors. and i have 3 spare 7.2v nicad 2100mah packs and was planning to use these to power everything.

1) will it run out to quickerly?
2) will the linear actour have enough power?

or should i perphaps have two serperate circuits onne for drive and one for weapon?

In hornet 2 I had 2 12v packs of 2.4Ah nicads wired in series to give me 24v. Even with a mag and two 18v drill motors going full pelt in the arena I only ever drew around 1.2Ah from them. Although if you will be doing a lot of pushing then you will probably draw more.

Best way to find out would be to wire it up and try it out.
