Most Original Design: I really liked the design of Mass Confuzzelment, its nothing like anybody has really tried before so that gets my vote for originality. Not just the use of the clusterbot, which isn€™t very common, but also that cheese grater style weapon.

Most Original Designer: An honourable mention goes to Alex but I think Aaron has pulled some more revolutionary things out the bag this year to get my vote. As above, Mass Confuzzelment and also Spyder are very original.

Best Design: As a good all-rounder I quite like Shovearound 2, its got speed, pushing ability, good defence and a proven weapon type.

Best Newcomer Vapourbot: Until a few days ago, I would have gone with the trend of Nitro-Gene which Paul deserves credit for, but Spyder has got my vote for this one. Once again Aaron isn€™t afraid to try something different.

Best Newcomer Vapourboteer: Paul Cuomo, but not just because he is the only one. This guy has come in ready prepared with knowledge of parts and a history of the game, is prepared to listen to advice and is producing some decent designs. He€™s shown he can write tournaments at lightning pace as well.

The Steven McGregor Award for Sportsmanship: Hmmm, for a change I€™m going to award this one to Martijn this year. Always supportive and never stirs up any trouble.

Idiot of the Year: I€™m going to vote for Kody because he broke the rules and voted for himself!

Best Flipper (Front Hinged): The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is Disco 5.

Best Flipper (Rear Hinged): I€™m going to go for Die-Ceratops Re-Invertus for this one - Wheely Big Cheese on acid!

Best Axebot: As always its tough between Killotine: EVO and Black Panther Queen for this one, but I€™m going for BPQ based on its success this year.

Best Spinner (Horizontal): Fragmentor. Ouch.

Best Spinner (Vertical): I€™ll go for The Disc 5 this time.

Best Sawbot: How has this award stayed in? MSSD of course!

Best Full Body Spinner/Ring Spinner: I€™ll go for Tengu VII here.

Best Translational Spinner: Cyberdemon, there isn€™t much else about.

Best Crusher (Horizontal): Is there anything other than Flank Attack?

Best Crusher (Vertical): Is there anything other than CDM?

Best Clusterbot: The only thing I can think of this year is Mass Confuzzelment.

Best Interchangeable Robot: NSBFR-X (but I want to vote for TIRTASM :P)

Best Rammer/Pusher: I guess Flick of the Wrist comes closest to ForcePower

Best €œOther€ Weapon: That damn guillotine again!

Most Effective Weapon: Tengu does exactly what it says on the tin. Destroy. Suitable for vegetarians.

Best Comedy Bot: Tails I guess.

Best Custom House Robots: I quite like Kody€™s things.

Best Walker: Spyder! Finally someone has brought in a new walking mechanism that actually works. And even better, it fits these random 150kg weight limits. :P

Best Shuffler: I€™ll choose Whirly for this one.

Best Tracked: Sheer Heart Attack looks pretty cool.

Best €œOther€ Motivation: I guess I have to go with Blizzard for this.

Most Underrated Vapourboteer: Willow Matt Harrison Haka Fowler The Third

Most Underrated Vapourbot: Hmm I don€™t think Disco 5 does as well as it should, it€™s a good flipper/spinner combination.

Most Overrated Vapourboteer: That would be breaking the rules€¦

Most Overrated Vapourbot: That would also be breaking the rules€¦

Best RPG: That crazy thing known as ATTTWI which I was too scared to read!

Best Extreme/Side Event: I can€™t think of any!

Best Minor Tournament (47): Dave€™s Here We Go Again tournament

Best Major Tournament (47): Well what can I say? Excellent battles, the final of which was the best match in a long time. I also won it, which adds to the vote. Mechanical Noise Series 1 - excellent tournament!

Best Battle of the Year: As above, Black Panther Queen vs. Psyclonised was the best battle I have seen in quite a while.

Biggest Surprise of the Year: Some legitimate promising newcomers come along in the form of Paul Cuomo and Samuel Park.

Best Custom Arena: The Wrexagon! Wonderfully designed by the master of Paint!

Best New Writer: Paul Cuomo - may not have the most thrilling and lengthy battles to read but the speed he wrote the Eye of the Robot tournament was quite amazing.

Best Overall Writer: For someone who doesn€™t write in his native tongue, Martijn sure can write some amazing battles.

Most Missed Vapourboteer: There€™s so many€¦ it comes down to either Nick or Tom to me. I€™ll go for Roper because he€™s been inactive here for longer.

Most Missed Vapourbot: Again, there€™s so many great designs that I€™d love to see competing again. I miss SpinVerter but I basically cloned that so I€™ll go for V€™Ger.

Best British Vapourboteer: Tricky€¦ but due to his mass of success this year I€™m going to go for Alex. Originality, creativity and a great winning record along with a little insanity!

Best €œRest of the World€ Vapourboteer: Well Mr. Knight has pulled some great new concepts out this year, so I€™ll vote for him on that. Nice to see some new designs still flowing in.

Best Overall Team: Team Doomforall, so many fantastic creative and effective designs which do the business in the ring.

Best Vapourbot of the Year: This may surprise some people, but I€™ll be going for Flick of the Wrist here. Great drive train, nice weapon system and came 4th in FFW4 and won the Here We Go Again mini-tournament.

Best Vapourboteer of the Year: It€™s a tough call, but I€™ll go for Alex. As I said before, he€™s been pretty successful this year.

Hall of Fame Induction

There is no way the Hall of Fame can be complete without the guy that revolutionised vapourbot FanFic many years ago with his technical knowledge, experience, success and original designs and a show of sportsmanship. Take a bow Aaron!

Still plenty of time to vote guys, keep em coming!
