SYNDOS vs. Flick of the Wrist
Flicks nice armour should stand up to SYNDOS disc long enough for him to ram Richard into submission.
All Scoop and No Stab Make Steve a Dull Boy vs. Crusher C.U.
Steves more controlled bot will quickly get to Crushers rear end, flip him, and then do whatever the hell he wants with him.

SYNDOS vs. Flick of the Wrist
In round 1, SYNDOS will pitted by All Scoop and Flick of the Wrist pitted Crusher to go joint top of the leader board.
Both machines are ready and were undamaged from the first round of matches, as the announcer says:

Martijn presses the button and Flick of the Wrist comes into life, driving towards Syndos as Richard gets the disc on Syndos up to speed to try and attack the sides and rear end of Flick and to avoid the front forks which proved to be efficient against the scoop and skirts of Crusher. Flick of the Wrist is heading straight towards the front end of Syndos, is Martijn madder than he looks, but at the last second he flicks the control and Flick of the Wrist flicks around to the side of Syndos.
Richard quickly tries to turn Syndos around to get the front disc into play as he has the slower machine by 8 mph, so he can€™t run away, but his turning is too late as Flick of the Wrist slips underneath the side skirts with the forks and starts to lift the drive wheels off the ground for Syndos. Richard knowing what will happen next slows down the disc as Flick of the Wrist rams Syndos at full speed into the side arena wall, Syndos follows what Crusher did and bounces away with the impact back into the arena and Richard puts on full power on both the drive and disc, turning to face Flick of the Wrist, as Martijn drives towards Syndos for a 2nd ram.
Both machines meet up, Richard has learnt from the first attack to counter-dodge Flick of the wrist€™s dodge bringing the disc into play onto the front end of Flick of the Wrist, sparks fly and Flick of the Wrist is lifted into the air, landing on top of Syndos stopping the disc, Richard drives towards the pit release button, as Flick of the Wrist tries to drive off the front end of Syndos as the pit release button as been pressed, Syndos reverses as Flick of the Wrist manages to work it€™s way free and away from danger, as the disc on Syndos starts spinning again, as Richard flicks Syndos around and drives away from the pit area
For the 3rd time of the match, both machines are heading towards each other, and straight into each other, as Syndos goes up onto the forks of Flick of the Wrist as Martijn wasting no time, turns and starts to drive Syndos towards the pit, as Richard knowing reversing would be suicide put the drive on full power and manages to get half on top of Flick of the Wrist, as the forks lower to drop the payload off into the pit. Martijn goes up to full speed and suddenly breaks just before the pit edge sending Syndos down, but that braking force of going from 20 mph to 0 in a couple feet has damaged Flick of the Wrist as a rubbing noise is coming from the rear right.
Cease
Syndos ends up in the pit after putting up a good fight, but it€™s out of the running for the cup. Flick of the Wrist makes it 2 out of 2, but taking on some damage to one of the wheels, which shall be easily fixed with a hammer.
Fight 4 will be tomorrow and will be:
All Scoop and Stab vs. Crusher

Oh well. In my last match against Crusher, Ill go for the sides again, and also try to keep the disc towards the pincers and hit them, hopefully knocking him upwards so I can do some damage.
In that case Rich, when I fight you, Im going to use my greater pushing power to get under the side and position my crushers on the side of SYNDOS, and charge him into the sidewall, hopefully hooking on, and then Ill pit it.

All Scoop and Stab vs. Crusher

In round 1, All Scoop and Stab scooped and stabbed Syndos into the pit, and Crusher broke down before getting pitted by the pit-ball terrier known as Flick of the Wrist.
Both robots are driven into the arena, as the announcer beings to announce that hot dogs are half-price.

Straight away Crusher driven by Paul comes straight at the Scottish machine, as Steve gets ready to counter the attack, as Crusher comes storming into a head-on collision to try and get underneath that front scoop and bend it, as both machines come together, a release of CO2 from All Scoop sends Crusher end over end as it comes to rest upside down, as All scoop rams into the rear end, lifting up the rear wheels, as Paul tries to get traction on the arena floor to get away, as the axe comes down to hit the base plate of Crusher, doing nearly no damage, as Steve sets his sights on a brighter goal of Scotland getting into Euro 2008 when England lose out to the Russians.
The arena wall is close now and with a flick of the wrist co2 begins to come from All Scoop as it launches Crusher over the arena wall and crashing onto the camera tracks.
Cease
An OOTA for Crusher as the 3 points head towards All Scoop to make the league a 2 horse race down to the wire.

Seems to be the big final of the tournament, eh Steve?
What I see here is a both thats though to get under, but far from imbossible, I also see a bot that can scoop, axe and OOTA me.. ouch
I also a robot with so-so agility that I can outspeed, and outpush. And I see how I dont HAVE to get underneath him to ram/push him Even if I drive straight up his scoop, my design will still allow me to have at least two wheels on the ground.
My tactics are to speed around and be everywhere at the same time. Dont let him catch me, and try to get some good rams in on his sides and rear, trying to get under and possibly overthrow and pit him. If getting underneath fails too often, raise those spikes and box-rush him that way, scoring minor points on damage, and perhaps pitting him in that fashion.
