Paul 1) Yes, at least according to the Team Cosmos KJ calculator.
Paul 2) I get bored entering the same things so I like to change them up a bit.
Paul 3) Its only 5 MM hardox in critical areas. Its mostly 3.5.
Paul 4) I did state. The spikes are facing up the robot. Ill get an explantory picture done up. I think the spikes would prevent robots just going straight over, as it isnt a smooth surface like Firestorm.

My understanding is that it allows slack between the three points, allowing the arms to move if one gets stuck. This advantage is traded in by the fcat it would be a bit heavier than a normal hydraulic system, how much heavier I couldnt find any info on.
