Invitation to Participate in Robodock -- September 19-22, Am

Hi,

My name is Sarah and Im with a group called Hazard Factory that produces an event called the Seattle Power Tool Race & Derby.

We are bringing our races to Robodock in Amsterdam in 2 weeks, and would love to see racers submitted from all over Europe.I would love to see some fighting robot racers!

As far as I can see: at the NDSM-wharf in Amsterdam-North.

There is a direct ferry that leaves at Amsterdam Central Train Station (behind the station, the pier to the fartest left). Or else you go by bus: lines 35, 38, 94. Take the bus at Amsterdam CS. With line 35 direction of Molenwijk you get out at Halte Ataturk. With bus 38 or 94 direction of Zaandam you get out at halte Klaprozenweg. Then its a 6 minutes walk.

With the car you take the Ringweg A10, take junction S118, Tuindorp Oostzaan. Follow the signs Industrieterrein Noord 1. Go to the left at the Van Riemsdijkweg. There is limited parking at the Tt. Vasumweg in the industry park around the NDSM-wharf.

On their website, under route at the bottom of the explanation youll find a map of sorts.

It used to be 15 minutes from where I live. To bad it moved to those northeners.

Im glad to see some interest in this. Trust me-- you can build a really great racer in the course of an evening. Remember that it will get pretty beat up. Also, we should have some supplies and helpful people on hand at the event. You can make the necessary final touches with us there, or even build the whole racer there.
