Leo some valid points but i am still not a fan of the Spektrum.
Thanks for the offers of futaba transmitters but I have got 3 that are sitting doing nothing at the minute but they may be resurrected and used in hornet 2 depending on how it performs with both a spektrum and a futaba.
Truth be told, Ive been tempted to put the TX module of the spektrum in my FX18, but that means really gutting the futaba and then I remember what i paid for it.![]()
Oh by the way, ACT is jumping on the 2.4GHz bandwagon too. The do have some nice 35MHz txs, it would be cool if they use that casing. It is one of the best in terms of ergonomics.
cant believe im asking this, cant seem to set the spektrum to run new robot. want forwards/backwards left and right on right stick. plugged one into ail and one in ele. switched mixed wing on, but cant seem to get both motors running right, am i missing something! tried swapping the 2 plugs around but still no luck![]()

Concentrate on getting foward and reverse correct... so if one motor is going the wrong direction swap the speed control supply wires over going to that motor.
I think the mixed wing setting is wrong. Try the v-tail mixer instead. If I am wrong dont be too harsh on me, please.
If you get it working post what you did here as I will be interested as I want to use it myself.

Ady ..are you now using a single stick ....as I recall you were previously using two sticks mixed?

yes woody i am going with one stick now, i have put the spektrum on charge as it was starting to go flat. in a couple of hours i will try again and post once resolved. i have a feeling its something to do with the mixing also, as when i press the stick left or right one motor turns on its own, and when i press the stick forward the other motor turns on its own.
Yup .....Seems like the WRONG mix.
