Great event, thanks to everyone for helping me out, once again and thanks to Geoff for the money!
Ill be taking a break from featherweights for the summer while I completely rebuild Someones in the kitchen with Dynamite, with aluminium gearboxes and probably wheels with treads, so see you in my home town of Reading in October, if not before.

Great weekend. Really enjoyed it. A big thanks to everyone who helped us out in testing Hydra (If I do find any more of wierd Alices tools Ill put them to one side for you).
Doesnt batterbot make a lovely noise when you hit it with the axe?? (Blunted the axe though). Need to do a load of safety related mods before our next event which will be Guilford. (He says thinking about going into the garage and running the axe over the grinder!!)

Great event, came home safely last night.
Congratulations to Team Windpower for another double victory.
I am very pleased to report that the chicken lives!! He took his first steps again today after getting a broken leg from his first flight.
(anyone who doesnt know what Im on about ask Mr Stu about what he did with a chicken and the arena flipper)

I just want to say a huge thank you to all of the roboteers who helped make this a great show, with well over 1000 tickets sold over the weekend. Regardless of how much work we put in to organising the event at our end, If it wasnt for you guys (and girls) we would have no show!
I would also like to thank Roaming Robots for their professional organisation and management of the show, the FRA for making sure that we had a safe event and last but not least to Rapid Electronics for their generious prizes and other sposorship. We are already planning Robot rumble 2009, so watch this space.
