......american maths: Can be built in 18 hours with two crews of 8, working two 8-hour shifts
![]()
In British labourer maths thats 2 crews of 8 (including 1 ghost worker per shift drawing full-time wage to share out between other 7)
8 hour shifts? Of course theres lunch (1hr out of shift), and tea breaks (4 x 30 mins), ciggy breaks (approx 15 per shift), time to chat (another hour), initiation ceremony of trainee (15 mins), explanation of initiation ceremony to local police (3hrs plus overnight lockup in cell necessitating another 8 hours at overtime rates).....

lol bout right that
Still a bargan at $100. And its a class 1 arena?
It is one hell of an arena.
I thought the floor was 12mm steel, the Judge was putting the odd hole in it.
The Super heavies can only just be contained in it with virtually no safety margin.
Heavies and below, no problem.
I think that the sales picure was taken on the saturday at the recent robogames
If you look closely you may even pick out the FRA judge( on the right)
Awww they hide the bidder names. I was bidder 3.
I bidded at $10.56 - gonna cry now, lost the bid. Cant afford more than that
Mr Stu
The reserve is I believe $11,000.
He is selling because he has bought another, better, arena.

FYI:
The arena cost well over $200,000 to build. Its worth around $100,000. Reserve price is $11,000.
Lexan value is worth about $50,000, its worth it just for that. Steel weight is worth about $6000, aluminum about $7000. Labor to build it would be about $40,000.
Im selling so low because Id like to see it still used, rather than sold for recycling weight.
No idea what it would cost to ship to the UK. At least $5,000.
