At the UK Champs, we had a problem whereby once we had put the link into Push n Shove and tested it across the arena, we couldnt switch the TX off without the robot moving. If we kept the TX on, it was under control. Were totally baffled... has anyone got any suggestions? Its a Futaba Skysports FM TX and RX.
What failsafes do you have fitted?
They have the Xtra failsafes. I reset them at the event and have done in the past. It seems a consistant pulse of interfearence but at random intervals. If I remember it was doing a similar thing but much worse before the failsafes were fitted back at Colchester.
It might be the RX itself producing valid signals... I had a similar prob with a Sanwa RX ... I eventually I had it checked professionally ... the verdict was itll never failsafe properly because it keeps producing these valid signals.
If possible borrow another RX and try that.

Yeah, will bring my spare set to Fairford. Tx and Rx so we can check both.
The TX is off and the Xtra failsafes dont failsafe ..... so it cant really be the TX.
I had the same thing the matter with Hells Angel when I was doing my tech check in wales, TX was off the wheels still twiched, and theyre also Xtra failsafes, perhaps weve set them wrong ?
