What an awesome event. Well done to all the comp winners. Great to see tornado and some other older robots back on the circuit. Kronic performed well (except in our competition semi! ) and Weed went well when we ran it with no CO2, not so well with it. Nearly became the first F/W to OOTA ourselves before the round actually started!

Had major problems with our Spektrum DX6i, Kronic even loosing the binding 4 times in one round, and taking 5 mins to bind before that round!

All problems with our robots aside, we had a fantastic weekend and the nephews thought it was great. Thanks to Robots Live for another great weekend.

Just got home we had a great weekend which was worth every one of the 785 mile round trip just to see the smile on Alexs face with his first ever trophy for his 2nd place. Thanks to everbody who helped us get Tiny Toon ready for the final specially Ed Wallace and Ian Thomas for lending the insides of DB5 & Lightwave and all your hard work to the detriment of your own robots.Beers definately owed.
Congratulations to Iron Awe 5 & Little Flipper

Many thanks to the Robots Live Crew and the other roboteers especially Mr Ian Watts for the test of his famous Watty180 speed controller. A definite first on my must have list.
St Hammer went Ok, but the rigors of combat certainly exposed a few weaknesses with the transmission design. I will have to get that fixed before the next event.
One unexpected bonus it can drive itself out of the pit with only one wheel going!

Thanks for a great event Guys

Another very busy event, I think apart from our fights I only watched two others which were two of Tornados fights, would have been rude not to. Turbulence did ok finishing in 4th after losing to IA5 in the semi again! then to Kronic in the play off.

Dave, btw I never had your charger, but I believe Marco borrow it from you. Dont know anything about it sorry.

Thanks to everyone who made it such a great event again.
