I sold a PSP on ebay . My worries are that the guy is trying to scam me.The winner only signed up today and has still yet to pay the charge. I get this reply from him

If he pays up first it should be ok but yeah those african country scams do pop up alot, normally they say stuff like they will send you a load of cash and you send the difference back. but with paypal it should be safe.

Just typed the first line of what he said into google - sure enough it is a scam that is happening alot with psps

what you need to do if you have his email address, is go on to loads of websites and using his email address register him for loads of stuff, such as information on cramatic adjustable beds, mobility scooters, and the like. this was only an idea to teach the scumbag a lesson, it may be illegal! so take it as advice only

Report the user to ebay. Copy the email in your contact. Theyll sort you out.

yep - dont send anything to Nigeria.
If you read through some of Ebays Q+A pages youll notice its a very common scam. They tell you exactly what to do on there.

Sure enough today I get a message from paypal saying that payment has been sent - except i could tell it was a fake paypal message - He has made a fake paypal email account and sent me an email saying that i have recieved the money , even though i check ed my paypal amount and it has not gone up a penny. And his ebay account has been banned
