Weapon motor

I am using drill motors to power my wheels, what type of motor, make and voltage, do you recommend for a spinning weapon?

Astroflights or HTIs are common choices.

EV Warrior if you can find one or a car fan motor. As Ed says Astroflights(expensive) or HTIs we use a EV on DragonStrike and 2HTIs on Kishar. http://www.teamdragon.org.ukwww.teamdragon.org.uk for pictures.

Sadly, as little as possible so I like the sound of the fan motor but mounting could be an issue I guess

If your going for a Fan motor, look for mondeos or big vans. You can usually get some really beey motors for a few quid and they work really well. Otherwise as Tony said, the HTI motors seem real good and very cheap but seem to get pretty hot at 24v, so dependant on the weight/type of disc you might want to use more than one at a time.
