Is your battery negative connected to the chassis?

It appears that the positive wire in the terminal block has shorted out via the terminal block ......I.E. Youve managed somehow to connect across the batteries.

Adding a fuse is a good idea ....especially whilst your playing..... It can eventually be removed.
Your chassis should be isolated from both battery terminls .... check that ALL your connections are adequately insulated .....with NO exposed wiring etc.

In my opinion ....Youve managed whilst putting on your lid to connect the positive and negative of your batteries .
Cause ... Inadequate insulation of exposed wires etc.

I would put insulting tape around the block, just to be sure.

so is this as simple as it sounds? i wont have dome any permenet damage?

In the positive wire from the battery.

are you not already using fuses? they are electronize 15A right? they should have fuses inline already.

Ive had another look at the pics on your site Alex ... you have many exposed connections.. example:- Your LED spade connections .. insulate them ALL.
Fuses for just your speed controllers will save .... well .....just your speed controllers .
Place the fuse as close to the main battery plug as possible and before any other connections.

Aside from the insulation issues at the moment, Psycho Ram is looking good!

Its kind of bizarre actually - the reason I sold that chassis was because I didnt have the time or money to get it up and running alongside Kaizer, but looking at your pic of it with the top off, it looks very similar to the way Ive rebuilt Kaizer now (piccy on profile) - something I didnt even notice at the early stages of building it. My chassis could probably fit into the Psycho Ram top bit quite well now

Out of interest, where do the batteries go? I can see a couple of spaces where they could sit but Im not sure - just curious though
