Hi Alex,
I use the futaba switch,it has an extra lead which plugs in to a standard charger so that when the switch is off it allows you to charge your battery without taking it out of your bot. i found that pushing and pulling the reciever connector ends up with loose connections which leaves you dead on the arena floor:sad:

My switch is on the side of a small plastic box which houses the reciever, battery and scorpion speed controller.
