Old blown nicads

last year i blew three nicads, an expensive mistake, but i still have them and wondered where to get rid of them?

Looks like the current advice is to phone your local authority. Hopefully they a have a collection service at a local dump. Certainly do not put them in the bin - Cadmium is not nice stuff to put into the environment.

all NiCads collected in the UK are exported to France for recycling...

Seems only fair to me. We give them our old nicads and they give us their old nuclear waste material.
