A wedge with a vertical disc would work. Wedge them, they ride up the wedge and get hit. I believe the S7 version of Executioner used this setup.

Frank: Yes, but Cyclone Forces disc is horizontal. AFAIK, horizontal discs on a wedge are next to useless.
Martijn: Have a look again. Youre only looking at the Body Shape section, even though the answer youre looking for is staring you right in the face under the GC and Set-Up 1 section. I quote...
Side is 0mm due to skirts. Back is 2mm. See set-ups for front GC
Which obviously means that the front, where Storm 2s wedge would be, varies.
The front makes a wedge and results in a 0mm GC.
From set-up 1 (the lifter).
Front GC for this and Set-up 3 is 1mm.
From Set-Up 2. No mention of a wedge at all.
There. You lose THAT battle. Now how about concentrating on the one that matters.
Chris, I dont wanna battle you on this, and fair enough if you meant for the wedge to dissapear with the disc-setup, but when you state Storm 2 as your body shape, I see an invertible box with sloped sides and a sloped front... youd be better of stating invertible box with sloped sides as your body shape, as frankly, I dont see how a machine with a flat front and a disc has its bodyshape described as Storm 2
AFAIK, horizontal discs on a wedge are next to useless.
Hazard from Battlebots
I thought the bar extended beyond the wedge?

I believe it does.
Battles shall be up tonight.![]()
It does, hence it doesnt count. And Martijn, maybe I havent stressed this before, but...its a chameleon-bot. The disc is not ITS weapon, its A weapon. Its like Storm 2, but the wedge is only present on the lifter/scoop set-up.
Also...youd be better of stating invertible box with sloped sides as your body shape...thats flawed.
1: That doesnt say anything. All it says that it is an invertible box with sloped sides. It doesnt give the writer anything to work with. Saying its like Storm 2 at least gives the writer an idea of what it looks like.
2: You know I dont work like that.
3: No offence, but no one has ever complained before, and I dont see why I ought to change just because of one person.
Perhaps, Chris, you can specify which set-ups the wedge is on, and which dont have the wedge. I know most of us would be able to tell that with a h-disc, Cyclone Force wouldnt have a wedge at the front, but remember we have rookies here. No offense to Samuel, Andre or the others, but with Shape: Storm 2 as its shape, theyd right away think that because Storm 2 has a wedge at the front, Cyclone Force would have a wedge there as well, disc or not. Its just instinct.
Just a pointer.
Well, I had thought Id been specific enough, but OK. Ill do a bit of stat modification.
The important thing is, the disc does not incorporate the wedge.
What a battle! No disgrace losing to a bot like Infusion. I beleive I already tipped it to go all the way before it even got through the heat final. Great battles as always Kody.![]()
«SOR 5.0 vs. Tengu VII»
Its box rush time! Ill take the skirts off for this match so Tengu has less to rip in to. In a similar tactic to Axeon vs. Infusion, Im aiming for constant pressure. Keep the wedge driving into the shell continually. Pin it against the walls and push it into the hazards. I have a huge advantage in the power department which should help. It really is a case of going for an early drive in to slow down the shell, get the wedge under, push it to the walls and throw it OOTA. Its damage potential should be limited by my moderately good armour.
In the other matches, Ill go for Tempest, Cyclone Force and Flank Attack.
