i found this, drive system from active robots could you use it in a feather? if so would it be easy to wire up etc?

Hi Alex,

I asked the same question on the technobots forum and this is what they said.

The RD01 is not really intended for general RC applications but for autonomous type robots. As for weight class, not actually tried them out myself but I would suggest a pair of motors would be fine for Z12 to Z6 (1 to 2kg). With the RD01 wheels, you are only looking at a speed of some 2mph.
