Nice pics Alex, and I notice theres a shot of Team Pillow Torques robot too.

Zeobot seems like a good chassis kit to use, does anybody know where to get them?

i personally think they are not strong enough for combat, which is why i sell my own kits.
    see http://www.xbotz.com
    www.xbotz.com store robot kits
these are offered in a variety of sizes and performance, the details at the moment are slightly different to the current kits, but i can go into more detail if you were interested via email.

pictures will be online very soon.

really? shouldnt be slow. does anyone else have this problem?

Or details on what they actually are?

They are currently available in either parallelogram or rectangular box. The size and material varies from kit to kit, but more info will be going up shortly. A 4wd rectangular verion will be available shortly.

The raptor cadet and feather cadet kits both use drill motors, in a polypropolene or polycarbonate chassis. This kit uses the cheaper components, currently mtroniks controller, but other options are available.

The feather combat uses more expensive motors bought in from the USA, which are similar to drill motors, but better quality and with really nice gearboxes. The chassis is strong, and made of steel. Components are more expensive, currently eletronize but other options are available, such as the robot power scorpion XL

The feather extreme is what it says. Hardox chassis, high power, high quality motors, sidewinder controller, but other options are available.

All kits come without transmitter or charger. Ignore the battery info, they are all changing to different specs.

All this info will be going on the site soon, so contact me by email if you have any questions before placing an order. The specs are being updated from those currently listed, so nothing will be a lower spec than stated. Sorry that it is not exact at the moment, but it needed to be up intime for orders last month, so it was put up as proposed specs.

In relation to this thread, I would place the Zeobot kit (2wd) in the same class as my raptor or feather cadet kit, but as standard versions, my kits have more power and better armour.

    Hope this helps.

  10. yep those buttons on the left take an age to load (relatively... Im only talking 5 to 6 secs, on broadband, but that may be too long).. tested on home connection, and its a slow as on the University of Warwick connection, so not just my connection..
Ive had a look and its the file sizes of those images.. the raptor pics are enormous at 128Kb.. they should be about 10-15kb ...whole page at 40Kb is what we used to reccommend to content providers (BBC etc)
If you run them through GIMP or photoshop and reduce the quality of the compression to about 75% or 80% I reckon the pic quality will be the same but youll save a whole load on file size.
