Well another successful event at the Doncaster Dome.

This was the 3rd year Roaming Robots has attended the Doncaster Dome, and once again it was a fantastic show.

This was the start of the 2007 Winter Tour Championship, and certainly the robot of the day was Iron Awe 5, they were not messing about at all, flipping robots all over the place, including many of them out of the arena.

A debut outing for our latest new feather weight team, Toon Army, Young Alex did very well in his first few fights in the arena, and I know as a regular attendee of Roaming Robots events, it was fantastic to see him on our side of the fence for a change.

A big Thankyou to all of the roboteers who attended and to the crew for their hard work.

Below is an email we received from a member of the audience€¦. We€™re certainly doing something right !!!
€œ I took my son to the Dome on Saturday with no expectations at all, but was completely blown away by the sheer excitement of all involved. It was FANTASTIC!! The professional approach and set up of the staff was excellent. Watching the various weight categories was both enlightening and thrilling. So much so that we are now contemplating having a go at building a feather weight ourselves. Thanks again for a great afternoon. €œ
Looking forward to Portsmouth in a few weeks !!!
