    Hi Guys,

Well firstly I have to thank those who helped out yesterday, you know who you are, as you may have noticed things didn€™t go quite to plan, a week of stress followed by a stressful event.

Starting off with two of our friends having a 60mph bike crash, both in hospital, and going to be for months. Not a pretty site I can assure you, Kirsti might aswell move into the hospital !!!

And then on Thursday/Friday, a certain someone decided to try and well and truly sabotage the event which I wont go into detail on this public forum, all I will say is€¦ NICE TRY !!!! But it did put my schedule back, and could have done without the stress.

So I€™m sure most of you noticed I was walking around like a zombie yesterday, and pretty much still am due to lack of sleep and energy. Didn€™t get to talk anyone, couldn€™t tell you which robots were there or not, as I don€™t remember most of it.

Although we had a disastrous start to the first show, not only running late, but the lights going out, we did manage to pull it back and comments from people were positive. Big pat on the back to everyone. Oh and the carpet€¦€¦ no marks, Thank you. I didn€™t fancy the £1000 plus Vat cost if any of the numerous strips needed replacing !!!

That€™s it for our first 3 shows of 07, apart from Colchester where hopefully we will have finished the upgrades, we now have a bit of a break so we can recoup some energy ready for a busy summer once again. I might even have a holiday !!!

    Regards

    John

You know who you are - and we now know who you are - if only it could become public. You know who you are and your just out of order and your day will soon come!

As John said, the event was a bit stresful, but finished on a high and was great at the end, thanks for those who helped me also, you know who you are, just shows that there are some nice roboteers out there and some people want our sport to grow and not try and sabotage coz they cant get their own way.

A big well done has to go to Jonno for pulling that event together and working to stupid hours. Without Jonno this sport would have been gone along time ago, and even all this cr-p he gets from cerain roboteers, he still keeps going and doing these events so keep the lot going, and its sicking and dishearting when certain people try and spoil it. So a well done needs to go to John for having thick skin and trying to keep this sport/hobby alive!

Hope too see you all at Colchester which should be buzzing!

  6. WTF? Who would try and sabotage an event? Why would anyone want to do that? Whoever did that needs stringing up and kicking out of the FRA
