Thread: More strange goings on from across the pond!

  3. Silverline sponsored the UK power tool drag racing earlier this year, James won, Ian lewis second, and mine third. Fastest time acheived on the day was 1.7 seconds, and it was great fun. The owner of silverlne built a petrol powered go-kart using 8 chainsaws

    James - john was allowed to run his, and he did. But the traction he gained from using thse milling cutters was too much and kept snapping all his belts!
    There were quite a few other teams that attended, and alot of them very good although the competiion was varied as no-one knew what o aim for. Next time will be different
    Darcie was in the un-modified class
    I think there are descusions about the net one, i think around summer time.
