Mario: Im trying out an Neu ORK brushless, but you cant say they are cheaper than old-school Mags - they usually cost MORE with the controller. The controllers are pretty fragile too, from some peoples experience.
James, that disc is staying in my garage for the momentI do have plans for it although they may take a while to materialise.

I do agree on the controller part. Brushless motors are not that expensive, but the controllers capable of supplying the current are still very expensive. Still, in the weight/performance curve they are very nice indeed.
