I want to put a cover over the removeable link in Push n Shove. We were thinking of something hinged but arent sure what is and isnt allowed by the FRA.
Can anybody give us any guidance please?
Yes, you can have a cover, we do on Pillow Torque.
FRA rules state that any cover must be able to be opened without use of any tools.
On secret wepon we have a small flap that has a bolt acting as a pivot that swings over the link port.
On Turbulence we have a flap with a hinge attached, when its down we lock it in place with a wing bolt.
Yeah, ive got a flap with a hinge. I dont need to lock it in place though cos ive got so much powder coat on it, its stiff enough anyway.
Weve got a hinged flap on Conundrum Mk2 which uses a cheap simple cupboard catch to keep it closed, easily opened.

psycho fling has a hinged flap, which allows easy access.

I never close the flap, it just flaps.
