  2. get a better powersupply, the amps drawn from the PSU make the voltage sag beneath the minimum value of the charger hence the error

  4. We had this problem with three different power supplies that we tried. In the end bit the bullet and bought a big one from Rapid Electronics. Many teams use the same one. (order code was: 85-182 Cost about £110 inc del.

Chris stick with the botpacks if you can otherwise, race packs/indivual cells, if your confident of making up good packs, of GP3700 NiMH

If you go to chargers and PSUs at http://www.technobots.co.ukwww.technobots.co.uk - both the 13.8v 20amp Power supply (1090-016) and the 13.8v 20A Dual Output Power supply (1090-017) are both ideal not to only run 1 of your chargers at MAX ratings, but attualy 2. I think they say you need about 8 or 9amps supply to each charger for it to work to its max. So a 20amp supply will quite happily do 2 chargers. And the cheaper one at £34.12 which i use, does one charger perfect, and also ran 2 chargers without problems when people borrow the supply from me as well. LOL - *COUGH* Pete/Jonno *COUGH*.
