Thread: Power Problems

  1. #1
I have managed to fit my lifter and it was working great, but when i tried it later on none of the power was getting through to anything. i have checked all of my connections all fine but the batteries were getting hot very quickily, and i think one cant be used again as it was very hot and the coating had come off.

not a clue what to do.....

i would take the batteries out so there is no power in the robot. put the link in, and measure (ohms)across the power cables that would go to the batteries in all combinations possible. if you have a short circuit it will show as a very low reading.

i have found the problem, my wiring was wrong and this then caused the batteries to catch fire but no one was hurt just the batteries. i had to batteries connected to each other how stupid, this afterwards explained alot

    thanks for the help
