3d printers.... awsome machines

Just had my preditor disc made in a 3d printer from resin and its come out really nice! cant wait to start the ali one. only problem is i accidently dropped it and now its slightly broken into about 5 pieces....doh! its well expencive to have done, thank god Sutton college paid for it lol. time to get the arildite out

They are great for makeing prototype pieces for your machines, you can make sure things fit well together and look good on the bot.

LOL they are good but i doubt anyone on this forum could afford one, the one at college cost around £100,000 i think, maybe more.

Yea we had a 3d printer at college and it could print bearings out and the balls would move how good is that, and also made a mini V8 engine and the cranks would turn and pistons move
