Also, may be worth looking at the other modules they have. Some can send back info on battery and motor temps and RPM etc etc

    Very useful!!

The legal limit for 2.4GHz is 100mW and only restricted below this in france as far as I know.

We are setting up an agency for supplying these transmitters but we are unable to sell or stock them untill the law is changed. On the 2.4ghz band the limit is 10mW and hopefully within the month they should become legal.
This is why no-one in england stocks them at the moment, but do stock DX3(for ground use only).

We were told this this-morning by the Spekrum representatives.

Will Roaming Robots be allowing these transmitters to be used at all their events now?
Just wondering so that i can drill holes in my robot for this receiver arial(old receivers at the back, new ones at the front to stay away from danger).

Kane, Im not trying to say your wrong but we were told by a few sources of Spektrum suppliers and are not able to sell them untill a law is changed.
Can I ask where you heard your information from please? and we will do our best to find out the truth!

The UK radio authority (or OFCOM) allocate the 2.4GHz band for licence free use up to 100mW.

As used by bluetooth, Wifi, and other common shortrange communication devices.
