we found that the following helped:
keeping signal wires away from power wires
where they have to cross make them cross at right angles
fit ferrites the wires that enter the mixer/speed controller

Well we had a good day at the event. Results are

Im afraid I dont know the Feather results, do know Ploughbot went out though as Grant told me.
Storm II ran well, new arm is vastly improved and seems capable of lifting two robots at once. Won all our competition fights, and two of the three whiteboards of the dayso Im hoping that weve cured our reliability demons for now !
Only downside was the arena roof does appear to leak making for a rather damp arena floor experience
Will be back on Saturday, am sure others will soon post their thoughts and results as and when !

Hi, hope you now have better arena security, after I walked in between events on Wed.:blush:
I was stopped by someone in a security shirt, but not until I had got up to the barrier at the edge of the pits, and been in the area for about two minuites.
TO Annes (Team Mad) husband, [sorry forgoten your name].... As I said last year, I made a kite out of one of the bags you sell. I left it and 12 copies of instructions on how to make it, with your wife. Sorry you wernt there so I could give it to you myself. Hope you have a good event.
