Nah! not at all. I start my preparation early by knowing who Im likely to be up against and studying the ones I dont know. There is one particular FW Im interested to learn about if its competing and it aint Scorpion Evil! I only know its provisional name which cannot be repeated on a family forum.
There - thats got you all worried now and I expect Ill be getting a phone call from Jenny or Geoff or both tonight!

Have just had conversation with John about the floor - good news... with 5 days to set the arena up, a plywood layer and then 2 layers of MDF on top it looks like were going to have a flat floor

Yes the event will most definitely be filmed for a DVD.

Along with some important documents going up on the website this Friday, teams will all receive an email which will confirm their application, and give you access to the roboteers section on the website.

Yes you are allowed interchangeable weapons, however your robot will be weighed in its heaviest configuration.
