Robot Calculator

Hi all,
Ive just finished working on a little Java program that should help with the design of new robots.
It is somewhat crude but is effective enough for designing virtual robots which is why Im posting in this section.

I think for most real robots it slightly underestimates their weight but Ive tried it with some FanFic bots and they are definately overweight.
If anybody has suggestions for improvements or spots any errors please let me know. If anybody wants new components adding I will need:
Their maximum total power output(W)
Their weight (kg)
Their volume (litres)

How do you input the robots length, width and height? Also, does it take weight reducing hols into account?

It assumes you have made it the smallest you can. If you want it larger than that, add some extra volume. It assumes the armour is continuous with no holes in it. The estimated chassis weight takes into account sensible weight reductions.

Right, so in other words it assumes the smallest possible weight the robot can be given its componants. Also if we want to take weight reducing holes into account, we should just skim a little off the estimated weight. Gotcha.

One more thing. What if a robot uses several different materials for armour, such as a polycarb base?
