And so my tournament draws to a close...but its not the end. In a week Ill start the ATTTWI, and mid-way through that sign-ups for the C&BT2 will begin, if people are willing to sign up. And some time after that I shall start the 3rd session of my house bot tournament. I know, I spoil you all, dont I?![]()
So dont think Ive left after this! This is only the beginning! Me and Team Gore will carry on, even unto the ending of the FanFic section, which will hopefully not come too soon.
Ah, now thats out of the way, its time.
This is the final battle of the tournament, and only one of these brave robowarriors will claim the crown.
+1>The Crash & Burn Tournament Final Battle
Clawdius Decimus Murderous had a smashing time here. He barreled through his opponents like a king on acid.Gigabyte, Axe-O-Lotl, ArchAngel, Die-Ceratops, and Orka all fell to his sharp and icy claw. But hes not done. He will never be satisfied until he claims his rightful crown, as he thinks it is. But will it be his, or will Clawdius go the way of the traitorous Roman conspirators?
Salamander III was just plain awesome. Underachieving in almost every tournament he entered, hes stunned the audience by reducing Disc-O-Inferno, IDSFA, Killotine, Aquarius, and Aneurysm to metal fillings. And thats not enough for our reptile fiend. Once more he will enter the arena and fight his way to victory...or to death, if he makes one false move. Is this Salamander hardy enough, or will it be fodder for Clawdius claw?
Roboteers, stand by!
Oh goodness me, four house robots during this match! Mr. Psycho, Sir Killalot, Taki-san, and Double Big Mac all coming in to watch this, the last fight of all, and possibly take part...well see! Lets go!

Final battle commenceth!Out comes Clawdius, deadly and guileful, looking to sink that claw into the innards of Salamander, but Salamander evades this chance by stacking himself up against the arena wall. Clawdius is no fool to dive into such a trap, and decides to open the pit. Salamanders rage is triggered and he bolts out to get Clawdius attention. This he gets, but not in a good way! Clawdius indeed turns, but slides away from the charge, and aims for the axle! But no, for Salamander spins around and out of harms away as well, and goes for a disc hit on Clawdius!
CRASH!!!
The sides taken some damage, and Clawdius has been thrown for a loop, but thankfully lands back on his wheels! Salamander comes forward again forgetting that his blade is stopped and bumps Clawdius on the other side panel near the front. Clawdius wakes up and swivels around to possibly get that claw around the back and clamp, but Salamander eludes Clawdius attempts to grapple him. A little frustrated now, Clawdius hunts him down and tackles him with the front wedge into the arena wall. Salamander tilts upwards, and with the disc spinning again thats not too good! But the bottom of the disc scrapes Clawdius beak and slows down, and gradually is stopped. Clawdius sinks down the claw again and hes got him! Umm...oh dear. Suddenly, Sir Killalot comes out of nowhere and tackles Clawdius from the back! ...ah wait, they were fighting near a CPZ, werent they?Anyway this rough shove loosens clawdius grip on Salamander, who again escapes. Steve glares at Sir Killalot before Clawdius makes another attempt, diving straight into the spinning disc of Salamander!
CRASH!!!
And I must say that Clawdius chances in this final are pretty slim now thats hes lost his front wedge! Look at that; as soon as the disc connects with the wedge, the panel flies right off! Talk about power! But Clawdius seems to disregard this completely, tackling Salamander again and ramming him right into Mr. Psycho waiting in one of the CPZs! Psycho brings down the hammer and hits Salamander straight on the left wheel! Ooh, I wonder how this is going to effect him...Psycho brings down the grappling arm but Salamander is already away and YES THERE IS SOME DAMAGE! Salamanders left tire is flat! Hes hobbling around the arena...the power of that hammer does its job again. New life has been given to Clawdius as he hurtles again into Salamander, and misses him only by a fraction, glancing off of the left side and spinning Salamander around. Salamander now has its weapon spun up and buries it into Clawdius left side again!
CRASH!!!
An even bigger hole has been given to the panel, and if you look closely you can see one of the S28-300 Magmotors powering Clawdius! Clawdius is again resilient to the hit and rams Salamander into the wall again! Salamander struggles to get away, and suddenly Sir Killalot, again nearby, interrupts the moment with his own claw, and grabs Clawdius! Whats going on?! Clawdius breaks free, but does not pursue Killalot, knowing that hes outnumbered 4 to 1. This, however, allows Salamander to escape AGAIN. Steve gives another glare to the knight and Clawdius goes on the attack again. Salamander is not doing too well out there with that left tire, hes just wobbling around, and missing the pit release button which he meant to hit...Clawdius takes advantage and piles Salamander into the wall again. Salamander escapes AGAIN before the claw can sink down. Furious with this onslaught of quick getaways, Clawdius himself hits the pit release button, and for the final time this tournament, the gate of robot hell descends into the depths. Salamander comes in but misses Clawdius with the disc. Clawdius tackles Salamander again from the side, and drives him up the exposed wedge in his claw. But in doing so the disc travels along the side and connects with the claw!
CRASH!!!
The crowd gasps as a piece of the claw is sheared off and hits DBM, ricocheting off and landing in the pit. Well at least the pit claimed something.Anyway, now Clawdius is really disabled by this blow...
10...9...8...7...
Clawdius allows Salamander to go free, and Salamander nearly ends up driving himself down the pit!
6...5...4...
Clawdius comes in but its too late, and Salamander is away, wobbling towards the flame pit in a desperate attempt.
3...2...1...
Clawdius attacks Salamander and shoving him into the wall one final time...
CEASE!!!
Goodness me! What a match! This is a final for sure! Lets take a look at this big melee while we get the judges decision!
(replays - shots of Clawdius tackling Salamander into the wall, Salamander ripping off parts of Clawdius side, and tearing off the front wedge. Moves by the house robots, and finally the shearing off of part of Clawdius claw)
Ooh, tension......well...the judges have made their decision. Based on strategy, style, control, damage, and aggression...this was very tough to call despite the last hit...but theyve gone...
FOR SALAMANDER III!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Want to know how? Judges decision please!
Clawdius Decimus Murderous - Salamander III
Aggression - (4-1)
Damage - (1-4)
Style - (1-4)
Control - (4-1)
Strategy - (2-3)
Total = 12-13
