AJ has it. The differance being, Timmy, that BOTH nationalitys of Ireland were represented. Regardless, they are both still part of Ireland. Thats how the rugby team works.

I might be wrong, but the country called United Kingdom (yknow, where most of you guys live :P) consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Island
Ireland itself, although its the same ISLAND as Northern island, is a seperate country...

so IF Wales and Scotland count as seperate countries for this question, Northern Ireland should as well...

still, its your country, not mine, so slap me if Im wrong :P

Northern Ireland is a different country to Ireland. Ireland uses the Euro and has a different governement to Northern Ireland, which has the Queen as head of state. It is like The Channel Islands, the Island of Man & That Rock in spain, just because it is attached to the same land mass doesnt mean they are the same country.

Or put it this way, you need a passport to enter Ireland, but you dont need a passport to enter Northern Ireland.
