What I do, Tim, is just read the stats and tactics, picture the fight in my head, imagine whats likely to happen and write down all the moves the robots make, which usually makes for reasonably long writing, though of course this varies with different robots. I try to make it dramatic, as well. For example (Im making up this quote by the way, I dont know if its actually happened):

Wedge Devolution shoved Forcepower Turbo against the wall and flipped it over the fence.

That sounds pretty boring, but it can be changed to:

Forcepower Turbo found itself unable to escape as Wedge Devolution shoved it against the wall! The wedge fired its flipper, and Forcepower went soaring upward, over the fence and out of the fight!

Exclaimation points work wonders.
