Ok, Hes vunerable to flipping, so Ill concentrate on that, and Ill cut into the side if I can get him close to the wall, hopefully the saws sought make a mess of the wheels and the plastic covered hardox

Hi, robot fanfic lovers, Im finally back! Been v. busy with uni work and a drama society, but now I can crack on.

Round 2 commences, with our reigning champ Wedge Devolution about to take on Gigabyte 1.5!
House Robots: Assassinator & The Martian

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Both robots accelerated into the arena centre and twisted around - Gigabyte 1.5 turned faster, but as it did so, a claw came over Wedge Devolutions flipper! The champ fired its weapon, and threw Gigabyte 1.5 onto its back in its usual style! Running into Gigabytes side, Wedge Devo quickly rammed it into The Martian, and a VFT house robot made its first impact on a fight as The Martians flamethrower lit up the spot! One saw blade scratched Gigabytes Hardox, as the other struck Wedge Devolution! Working the helpless Gigabyte 1.5 around the HR, Wedge Devolution flipped it again, and it landed on top of The Martian! The disgruntled HR turned around and pinned Gigabyte 1.5 in the corner, blasting away with the flamethrower but only scratching with its saw blades! However, Gigabyte 1.5 wasnt about to give up, and slowly edged itself out - only to come face to face with the first seed! As the two came together, Gigabyte snapped its claws shut on either side of Wedge - but one claw was over the flipper, so Wedge Devo fired! But Gigabytes grip was so strong that it wasnt shifted, and instead Wedge Devo tipped itself off the ground, almost falling over backwards! As the two robots settled back down, they began trying to drag each other! They have similar power, but with better traction in its wheels, Gigabyte 1.5 began to gain a slight advantage!
Gigabyte 1.5 dragged Wedge Devolution very slowly - and as they slowly turned, Wedge Devo was brought into the CPZ of The Martian again! The HR rammed into the first seeds side, its saw blades slicing away! While Wedge Devolution was so distracted, Gigabyte 1.5 took the oppotunity to release the front, swerve and go for Wedge Devos side to get a better grip! As it did so, Wedge Devo saw it and turned towards it, and Gigabyte 1.5 ran a little way up the flipper! A flip quickly followed, which sent Gigabyte 1.5 tumbling into The Martians face! The Martian quickly turned its victim away from the reigning champ again, to give it a good slicing, but Wedge Devo wouldnt have that - it ran into The Martians side and fired its flipper! The Martian was tipped against the wall, exposing Gigabyte 1.5, whom Wedge Devolution quickly had propped up on its wedge! From there, it was a straight run to the pit release, but as Wedge Devolution turned, Gigabyte 1.5 almost slipped off! Fortunately, the reigning champion was able to turn and get it back on the wedge before it could wheel off, and shoot across the arena floor to dump it in the pit!

Will the heats other seed, Windiest Killer Just Got Windier, also get into the heat final (using a Hardox wedge at the front and an inverted one at the back), or will it be taken down by Helliant?
House Robots: Horcrux & Ultimate Snakebite

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
The fight began with Windiest Killer Just Got Windier and Helliant colliding in the arena centre and doing a spinning dance to get under each other, with neither making much progress! Eventually WKJGW seemed to get bored and swerved out of the waltz, to run at Helliant - only to go straight into the deadly rear saws! As the 18th seed ricocheted off, Helliant reversed at it again to put some more scratches in the Hardox wedge! WKJGW got out of Helliants path before it could recieve another sawing, and went for its side! Helliant turned at WKJGW to try and use its flipper, but it couldnt do it fast enough to stop WKJGW from getting its wedge under the side! Spinning around underneath Helliant, WKJGW proceeded to give it a good hard ram into the pit release! Wanting to get the fight over with quickly, Windiest Killer Just Got Windier proceeded to escort Helliant straight down the waiting pit!

Our first VFT7 heat final is an all seeds affair, but will Wedge Devolution continue its path to defend the title, or will Windiest Killer Just Got Windier get revenge for Hypertension Mk2?
House Robots: Horcrux & Megaraptor

3, 2, 1 - ACTIVATE!
Wedge Devolution came straight towards Windiest Killer Just Got Windier, who swerved away! The first seed turned to come after it, but the 18th seed responded by turning again and going for Wedge Devos side! The two bots were now parallel, and spinning around on the arena floor - but eventually, WKJGWs superior speed allowed it to bring its front wedge into the side of Wedge Devo! It began giving the reigning champion a shove, but because the wedge had come into the side close to the rear, Wedge was able to break away as it was being shoved, causing WKJGW to go speeding past it! Wedge Devolution went on the attack, but WKJGW just escaped! The two seeds circled each other like boxers, until WKJGW finally came in, striking Wedge in the side again and this time pinning it against the wall! It strained to keep its victim there, and did so for a while, until Wedge Devo managed to wriggle out! Quickly, it came in on WKJGW, managing to slip its plate under the side and get in its first flip of the match! WKJGW bounced and tumbled across the arena floor, and Wedge Devo followed, just missing the chance to catch WKJGW before it landed on the floor and escaped!
Windiest Killer Just Got Windier came straight back on the attack, but it hit Wedge Devolutions side at a wonky angle as the first seed was turning to attack it! Bouncing off, it reversed and its inverted wedge went into Wedge Devos side! Unfortunately, it couldnt push too well like this, and Wedge Devo swerved to bring its flipper under the wedge! WKJGW tried to run but just got caught by the flipper, tipping it up and leaving it balancing for an agonising moment, allowing Wedge Devolution to come in and capture it on the wedge! The champ then couldnt resist delivering WKJGW to Megaraptors CPZ! Megaraptor obligingly lowered a claw to grasp WKJGW and lift it, but then turned to try and grab Wedge Devolution with the other one! Wedge Devo reversed out of the way as Megaraptor spun around with WKJGW, then ran into Megaraptors side and tried to flip! Unfortunately, the HR was a bit too heavy for the rear hinged flipper - but Wedge Devo still came underneath and tried shoving Megaraptor against the wall! Annoyed, Megaraptor manouvered off the wedge with its tank tracks, and proceeded to turn and drop WKJGW next to Wedge Devolution! Both robots collided, but that didnt come to much as Megaraptor shoved past them to return to its CPZ! Once he was gone, they came together head on again, and shoved! Neither seemed to be gaining an advantage, so eventually, WKJGW reversed away and came back in to attack Wedge Devo side on again, but had to abort the attack as Wedge Devo turned on it! The next collision was another head on one, and this time it was Wedge Devolution who swerved out of it! WKJGW also did a swerve, but Wedge Devo came straight in, got under the side and flipped the 18th seed into the air! This time, WKJGW tumbled enough so that it couldnt get away when Wedge Devolution came after it! The first seed proceeded to transport WKJGW to the pit release - it turned carefully, almost losing hold of Windiest Killer Just Got Windier, but managing to edge towards the pit and fire its flipper for a photo finish! Windiest Killer Just Got Windier flew towards the pit, hit the ground at the wedge, and bounced into the hole!

Next time on VFT7, third seed NSBFR-X tries to use its interchangability to beat A Night At The Bar, Mortis and Spawn Again!
And 19th seed Forcepower 5.0 will try to use the force on Chaos 2, Rambot and Sonic Boom!

1) A Night at the Bar VS Mortis VS N.S.B.F.R. X (3) VS Spawn Again
I can see the seed making it through with little trouble, but Im caught between Martijn and Spawn to join it in the next Round...maybe the axlebot on a JD

2) CHAOS 2 VS ForcePower 5.0 (19) VS Rambot VS Sonic Boom
Oh, real nice draw, Richard.
Not much I can do really. Maybe team up with Andy and let him quickly dispose of the lighter Rambot while I tackle Sonic Boom and try to flip it into the Pit. Perhaps AJ could help me out if he manages to get rid of the other realie. (Pleeease? )

If Martijn wants to team up, he can go after Mortis while I tackle Spawn. Ill use the bar so it doesnt matter if he flips me, and as a bonus I dont tink the armour is that brilliant. When Spawns knackered, Ill go after Mortis sides.

this should be cool, two powerful spinning bars against the two realies, keeping the bar between my main body and Mortis (and remember, it sticks out from 2 sides ) should keep me relatively save from everything he can do to me, while giving him a good clobbering

Yep, Ill team up with Steve for this one. Ill ram them onto the flipper and you launch them. Pretty confident I annihilate all these bots on power, so hopefully it should be pretty easy.
