  3. Yeeha, guessed my password....

Yes, its my curiousity and hoping thats started all this (in a way) after harassing Frank to post what Id seen on the Digital Spy forum here to get the offical word since there was nothing but guesses and speculation on the thread before.
(so thanks for that F-money! )
I admit I was sceptical about it, and still am, but this post has lent it a bit of gravitas...

    Hi all,
Just got back from an interview with Jonathan Lipman, agent of Emma Greenwood.
I can confirm the rumours are true......Emma has just signed a contract to host the new series of Robot Wars. As a fan of RW since 2000 I questioned the reason behind a BB contestant being chosen to host this show. I was then introduced to Emma who, I found to be polite, funny and delightful. I admit she worried me a tad when she admitted to not knowing too much about RW. However, she was endearing and a little dippy.........but she is also savvy and has started to research her subject for the airing of RW in the spring of 2006. To be honest, I cant understand why some people are so critical. At the end of the day, the girl had always wanted to be on TV since the age of 8 and was a member of a drama school up until the age of 15. She saw her chance on BB and grasped it. Good on her and I personally wish her luck.........

So....do we have a potential return, or a potential wind up on our hands?
If its true, then the presenting BB girl herself may be being taken for a ride by who knows what....hmmmmmmm

Still, I thought even a hint of a possible perhaps maybe return was worth investi-ma-gating, maybe Im being delusional but Id love to see it back in all its glory!

If anyone wants to view the original thread that started all this in context, its here:

    Interesting times...

Anyone that made this thing up mustve been very strange indeed... I for one am 90% sure this thing is made up in some way or another. My No.1 evidence for this is probably the fact that mentorn usually record robot wars during the summer before the spring/late winter in which its aired on TV. My No.2 evidence is that surely no-one is dumb enough to make a BB contestant RW host... We had a celebrity love island host instead!

i must admitt i have looked at mentorns web site and im sure if they was any news it would be there, assuming that it would be the same production company that would do it.
face it we would all like to see it come back but i think it unlikely that it will happen as nice as it would be.
but at least the program started off a new craze in this country that lives on in the way of live events and shows, and long may it continue.

I can honestly see it returning, but not as before. It will probably a low-cost version that would probably be on Challenge or something.
