Does anyone know were I can get hold of 10-30 UNC countersunk socket screws (preferably stainless steel) without having to buy them in huge quantities (I.E. a box of 500!)??
Thanks,
Geoff

BBN are great, dead cheap and loadsa stock - I get all my bits from there http://www.bbn.co.ukwww.bbn.co.uk I think you have to order in multiples of 100 if you shop online tho, but if you can go there in person, you can order any amount you want![]()
Bah! there sites undergoing a revamp at the mo, theres a fone number there tho
UNC Size 10 is 24 threads per inch.
UNF Size 10 is 32 threads per inch.
Ooops!!.. My mistake!! The drawings I have state 10-32 not 10-30 so you are quite right Woody, theyre UNF not UNC!
But the question still stands!
P.S. what does size 10 equate to in diameter expresed in fractions of inches?
Geoff, No. 10 UNF/UNC is 3/16 ( 0.1875 or 4.76mm )
