Stephen the way this is done is tapping a Metric hole throught whatever material and srecweing a bolt in to it so it held together Examples of this method are on pushybot eg Micro Maul , KR2 and various othersyet the other day I was reading a thread where someone mentioned tapping the chassis and not needing a framework like this - which is correct, and how is it all connected up?
