Aces

Stomper tries to get Mephistopheles interested in playing a practical joke on Hewlit and his friends, but Mephistopheles isn€™t interested, and instead asks Stomper to lend some money so he can buy clothes. Stomper does so, and Mephistopheles heads out the door. He then goes to get a root beer from the bar, then turns to chat to the three eyed woman, who has disappeared along with Hewlit and the black man. He drinks the beer anyway.

Marathon meanwhile is still talking to the monkey tailed man, but he doesn€™t know anything else about Edge and Shockwave.

Police station

Funky Junkie and Psy are just leaving the police station, when a blanket clad Mephistopheles is brought in handcuffed to an officer.
€œWhat€™s going on?€ O€™Hara asks. You€™re told that Mephistopheles has been arrested for gross indecency. Apparently he€™d lit his one remaining cigar, burning ash had fallen on his boxers and the rest is history. Funky Junkie and Psy bail him out.

Police station

The three at the police station are about to leave, when another officer arrives with a file.
€œThere€™s something the Chief Inspector wants you to have a look into,€ he says, passing the file to Psy. Rather than look at the file now, they decide to go back to Guardian H.Q and wait for the others to arrive. Mephistopheles€™ first action is to get dressed.

Aces

Stomper leaves to go clothes shopping, leaving Marathon at Aces. Having gotten over his illness, Blur arrives a little while later, just in time to see the man sitting on the ceiling flip himself back down to the floor and leave. The lunch time crowd is thinning now, and only Johnny is behind the bar. There is a lovey-dovey young couple in the corner, a scarlet coloured man with a long purple ponytail stands at the bar, and three youths are lounging at one of the tables, eyeing up women as they pass the window.
