Scott??? Stats Needed??? *faints in utter shock*![]()
Name;Little Big Bot
Weight;25 kilos
BS;Square Wedge (like Morticon or Alley Cat in RW game)
Speed;20mph
GC;2mm
Armour;6mm polycarbonate
Power;2x 750-watt Bosch electric motors
Wheels;4 inner
Weapons;Double headed axe, like Terrorhurtz, but smaller. The idea is to batter oppodents instead of destroying them.
Srimech;The axe rights the robot.
Inspiration; The name of a Simpsons episode, AND the name of a wildlife documentory about small cats, but NOT after the famous film.
Strengths;Weapon
Weaknessess;Difficult to control
Name;Tom
Weight;50 kilos
BS;Wedge with rounded back
Speed;12mph
GC;7.5mm at sides, but flipper front is 0mm
Armour;3mm titanium
Power;2x wheelchair motors
Wheels;2 inner
Weapons;A flipper, like Chaos 2, able to flip 5 times its own body weight
Srimech; The flipper rights the robot. Whiskers prevent side stranding and the rounded back prevents stranding THAT way.
Inspiration;Part of a clusterbot called Tom and Jerry (you can GUESS the inspiration), but now he is working solo.
Strengths;Flipper
Weaknessess;GC a little high.
If LBB is too heavy, shed 2mm of polycarbonate off.
Ill have the superheavy done this weekend, I just havent had much chnace during the week.
ok, now thingsll get serious :P
Name - Back to Rock
Weight - 100 Kilogram
Speed - 29 km/h (18mph)
Dimensions - 90x75x30 cm
Ground Clearance - 0 at sides and front, 2 mm at the back
Power - 2x Etek motors, 48 volt, 30 BHp, 4 chunky batteries, geared 2:1
Movement - Four wheels, 20cm diameter
Weaponry
- A wedge at the front, at a 35 degrees angle to the floor
- A pair of side skirts out of 4mm titanium with a 2mm polycarbonate laminate
- A titanium flipping arm, back hinged, powered by a 1,1kg gas bottle at 160 PSI, can easily flip a 100 kg robot 50 cm into the air or self right my robot when needed.
Armour - 7mm Ti/V alloy Box section chassis, 12mm Ti/V alloy for the rest.
Shape - basically a box, with slightly sloped sides with skirts attached to them, and a sloped front to ram and get underneath opponents (to flip, duh).
Strengths - Powerfull armory, high ramming power, hard to get underneath
Weaknesses - No powerfull active weaponery
a 2:1 reduction is far too fast. Youd have virtually no control. I know we are on the same team, so Id thought Id better tell you
Wheel diameter acts as another reduction. RPM doesnt change, but km/h does. One should note though that with 20 cm wheels, his robot would actually be going 56.6 km/h, instead of 29. (Using Eteks at 3000 rpm as a reference, since Im too lazy to look it up to the tens digit).
Proves my point. 59Km/H is far too fast to keep under control
